Andy Murray has no charm?
Sometimes I harp on Andy Murray. It’s not a secret. But I certainly don’t do it to the extent of Simon Hattenstone. Here’s his article about how charmless Murray is compared to his brother Jamie. Compared to a normal human being, actually.
Hattenstone talks about Murray as if he’s a side of beef for sale. That’s fine. The article can be interesting - if for nothing other than the controversy it has sparked out of the woodwork - and it has some true points. You can’t dispute the fact that Murray tends to have a perpetual scowl on his face.
But the real charm in this article has nothing to do with Hattenstone and everything to do with the comments left. Check it out.

I’m inclined to agree with the Guardian article as I think Murray is somewhat lacking in charm and likeability. I’m a Brit, and for me personally, he will never match Tim Henman in that respect.
