Henin comes from behind to win

by Erica on November 11th, 2007

Speculation is over. Justine Henin improves her record over Maria Sharapova with a come-from-behind 5-7, 7-5, 6-3 victory in the longest final in the Sony Ericsson Championships history. The match lasted 3 hours, 24 minutes.

Henin also set other records - like it being her 10th title in 2007. And the win being her 25th straight since Wimbledon.

Woo. Go Henin. She’s 25. And despite not playing as well as she could have against Sharapova, she has what it takes to be a champion. The ability to pull out wins on off-days.

Henin rocks! The deck is stacked against her height-wise and she still slugs it out with giants like “Look at Me” Sharapova. Love it!
