Koubek Disqualified
There is a right way and a wrong way to make a point. The movie A Few Good Men had a line about how, in the court room, you can bring something up to get it in the minds of the jury but you can’t stress it too strongly or they’ll think you’re trying to bowl them over.
Maybe Stefan Koubek should have followed that advice. Koubek was disqualified from the Metz Open for having strong words with the supervisor. After a close baseline shot was ruled to be replayed since the line judge’s view was obstructed, Koubek disagreed with too strong of language and was disqualified.
Certainly it’s no new territory for Koubek who was disqualified from the French Open in 2000 and during the qualification for the Paris Open in 2003.
Now that Koubek isn’t in the tournament anymore, maybe he can watch A Few Good Men and pick up a few pointers.
