Tennis 2008!
The new season is upon us. The distinction between one year of tennis and the next is so minimal it’s almost not even there.
The Hopman Cup in Australia is the first tournament of the new year and Serena Williams will be one of the first two players to hit a ball in 2008. The rest of the world’s top players will be competing in various tournaments in preparation of the Australian Open which begins Jan. 14 in Melbourne.
Granted, the news of the next season of tennis doesn’t really compare with a tiger escaping from its pen and killing someone, but you do with what you have.
