Two Charges Against Man who Landed His Plane on a Golf Course
A couple months ago, I remember reading about the guy who took his son to his tennis lesson via airplane. Right, no big deal. I fly to my appointments all the time…
Except this guy landed his airplane on a golf course and the authorities “caught” him. (”Caught” isn’t necessarily the right word since that implies he was trying to get away, but…) Yesterday, Robert Kadera, the 65-year-old flying offender, was charged with reckless conduct and endangering the life or health of a child. Both are misdemeanors.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t there murders, drug rings and rapes going on all over the nation? Not that I’m saying landing a plane on a golf course is less of an issue, but - yeah - that’s what I’m saying!
In the 109 comments left on the article, the subject of being rich keeps coming up. I know a few rich people. Some of them are okay and some of them are complete jerks (kind of like poor people…weird), but one thing is pretty common. They’re not going to stop acting like they’re rich because the slap on the wrist they got for landing their pet plane on somebody else’s land isn’t going to bother them.
I mean…at least it was a tennis lesson. I’m glad to see they have their priorities straight.
