Why, oh why? The reason behind tennis
Some days, I like to ask a lot of questions. It’s like I have reverted back to childhood, standing next to my father and asking, “But Daddy, why do the baby boy calves have their balls cut off?” (What can I say? I grew up on a ranch; I saw lots of things and asked lots of questions!)
Today was a day when my inner child came forth and asked that ever insistent and oft annoying three-letter question.
Why?
And that’s what I put forth to you today. Why do you play tennis? If you play tennis - I shouldn’t whip out my Jump to Conclusions mat and assume all my readers are tennis players.
But if you play tennis, why do you? My inner child that so often shows itself on the outside is dying to know.
